Monaco

Monaco is a beautiful city located on the French Mediterranean coastline. The city is home to approximately 37,831 residents. Monaco is an extraordinary city with beautiful beaches and luxurious city harbor. Monaco is the second smallest state in France and it’s the smallest Vatican City. Additionally, Monaco is famous for its Monte Carlo Casino, which has appeared in many James Bond films. Even though the Monte Carlo Casino is one of the world’s best casinos, locals are not permitted to enter or gamble in the casino.  A popular event that takes place in Monaco is the Monaco Grand Prix. This racing event takes place in the city of Monaco once every year. The reason why this race is very popular is because it takes place on the streets of Monaco, and it is used to crown the champion of formula 1 racing. This race is very important because there’s a lot at stake. The winner of the Monaco Grand Prix can take home approximately 9.8 millions dollars.

  1. This post caught my eye because I am a French teacher and happen to be a beginner fan of the racing you mention. I went to a race in Baltimore with my family. It was fascinating to see Baltimore close its streets to become a racetrack. Your blog gives me the "travel bug"!
