Barcelona, Spain
The city of Barcelona is situated in the northeast part of Spain on the Mediterranean coast. Barcelona is home to approximately 1.6 million inhabitants, and it is the second largest city in Spain. The city of Barcelona is most famous for its architecture, tapas, beaches, and soccer team. Barcelona’s soccer team is one of the main attractions in the city. The locals in Barcelona are very passionate and proud of their team. F.C. Barcelona attracts approximately 95,000 fans each week to their soccer games. Barcelona is well known for its traditional food called tapas. Tapas are a Spanish delicacy, which are served in small portions. Tapas are usually consumed along with a Spanish wine or, beer. An attraction that brings people from all around the world to Barcelona is its modern architecture. Barcelona is home to some of the most worlds colorful, bold, and unique buildings.  A must see building in Barcelona is La Sagrada Familia. La Sagrada Familia was constructed by Antoni Gaudi in March of 1882. The building is famous for its intricate and fascinating designs.

    I loved learning about Barcelona! This is definitely one of the top places I'd love to travel to. I've never heard of tapas before, so that was interesting to learn about. Your vocabulary activity is very easy to comprehend, and a helpful way to review the vocabulary words.
