Cali, Colombia
I can give you many reasons on why you should visit Cali, Colombia. The city of Cali, also known as the Valle de Cauca, is located in the southwestern region of Colombia. It is home to approximately 2,319,655 inhabitants. As well, it is home to Colombia’s mouthwatering dishes, notably the Bandeja Paisa, which consist of Colombian beans, white rice, beef, chicharon, fried plantains, and a fried egg. Not only does Cali have great food, but also it has great places to sight see. The Rio Pance is located south of the city, and it is one of the largest rivers in Colombia. Rio Pance is a great place to take a group of family or friends. The geographical location of the Rio Pance gives locals and tourist a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. A popular event that takes place in Cali is “La Feria de Cali”. The festival has been celebrated since 1957, from December 25 to December 30. The festival is used to celebrate cultural, ethical, and musical diversity. Some activities that take place during the festival are salsa concerts, bullfights, parades, and sporting events. Great introduction to nouns. This seems as though it would be very helpful to ENL students.
